Current Attributes


Agility (AGILITY) Athleticism
The Agility attribute determines a player's defensive lateral movement, off-ball launches, and off-ball cuts.
Ball Handle (BALL) Playmaking
The Ball Handle attribute determines a player’s ability to handle and control the basketball while dribbling, particularly in tight spaces or when attempting advanced dribble moves like crossovers, spins, or behind-the-back dribbles.
Block (BLOCK) Defense
The Block attribute determines a player's ability to contest or block shots from opponents, especially near the basket.
Close Shot (CLOSE) Outside Scoring
The Close Shot attribute determines a player's effectiveness in making shots near the basket but outside the immediate layup and dunking range.
Defensive Consistency (DCNST) Defense
The Defensive Consistency attribute determines a player's ability to maintain effective defensive performance throughout the game.
Defensive Rebound (DREB) Defense

Free Throw (FT) Outside Scoring

Acceleration (ACC) Athleticism
In the past, the Acceleration attribute determined a player's dribble launching and off-ball movement. Starting with NBA 2K25, dribble launching is now determined solely by the Speed With Ball attribute, while defensive lateral movement, off-ball launches, and off-ball cuts are determined by the Agility attribute.
Lateral Quickness (LQUI) Defense
The Lateral Quickness attribute determines a player's defensive lateral movement, which is the ability to move side-to-side quickly. Starting with NBA 2K25, the Lateral Quickness attribute is no longer used.
Morale (MOR) Morale
